My name is Cliff Goddard. I am a fully qualified City and Guilds Carpenter Joiner with 40 years' experience and have been in the building industry all my life.
I work with my two sons. Wayne, who is an experienced Carpenter of 20 years and Will, who has been with me for 4 years and is developing into an excellent tradesman.
We only use the very best of other trades I've got to know over many years.

In 2022, we undertook major refurbishment on our property. Cliff and the team were responsible for a major part of it, including building both our media units, complete with cupboards, recessed tv walls and electric fire, installing a marble fireplace and hearth, knocking out old wardrobes and internal walls, installing a completely new bathroom, creating a waterproof lean to at the side of the house and building cupboards for the utility room. Nothing was too much trouble and they were very tidy and reliable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CCS Carpentry & Construction.

We had planned to build an extension to the back of our house and having used CCS Cliff and his team (Will and Chris) twenty years earlier for a previous extension we sounded him out as to whether he was available.We had got several quotes including his .He was extremely competitive in his pricing and we knew the quality of his previous work so it was a no brainer.

The garden room that Chris and Cliff designed for us has transformed our living space. It has given us all the extra space that our family needs, but at a 5th of the price of an extension.
The room is cool in the summer, and warm in the winter….. and only requires a small plug-in radiator to take off any chill in the coldest days.
I can’t thank Chris and Cliff enough for their professionalism and hard work, the whole project was completed in record time with minimal input needed from us. The site was clean, the finish is exceptional, and actually it is nicer than our actual house!
